AAE94: 'to the pont'

Hi Matt,

What does "to-the-point" mean?

I haven´t found the translation in any dictionary.

Thanks Roman

Hi Roman.

"To the point" means concerning or with relevance to the matter at hand. A possible synonym is pertinent and it is similar to the word relevant.

For example:
"The reporter's questions were direct and to the point"

Thanks

Matt
